WOW! I am so floored by this author. She is known to always be helpful, positive, kind, generous, sweet and generally so amazing. She has a naughty side and a wicked cool sense of humor. When I got hold of her media kit, I was shocked to discover her book is not a sexy little read or a fun Fantasy or playful Paranormal novel. It was about her own son. This is her true story. Please open your hearts to:

Open a book, slip into the comfy seat of a movie theatre, or turn on your favourite show or play your favourite video game and you will be transported to another world where you can escape from the day to day stresses of being human.
However, once that story or game has ended, you will slip back into the day to day grind of the real world.
Imagine being stuck in the world of make believe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because the outside world is too confusing and painful.
This is how the real world feels like for Christian Traverse.
Inside you will be introduced to the world of one extraordinary boy, who at first glance, you will not find anything unusual about his sandy blond hair, his big, deep blue eyes, or even the long, dark lashes that would be the envy of any woman. You will not be taken aback by his crooked grin or the bubbly personality that can make just about anyone instantly fall in love with him. In fact, unless you know what to look for, you are not likely to notice anything different about him at all, but he is different.
This world we live in is confusing, overwhelming and painful because he has a condition known as autism.
Like I said, at first I thought I'd be promoting her fiction novel, but then Tina sent me Forever Christian's media kit. Upon reading the synopsis earlier today, I immediately demanded that she send me the book. I NEEDED TO KNOW THIS CHILD. I needed to know her story.
I read it in one hour, nodding my head at times, because I could relate to Tina as a mother and all the things she felt. Other times I grabbed my chest, recognizing symptoms in my own son and wondering "Could he be autistic too?." Don't worry you will do it too...
Then I read about his reactions to things and the things he did to himself and all I could utter was: Holy Fuck!
I cried several times just reading about their life with this precious little angel, their struggle for 9 years and how he could not understand why he didn't do things the way normal kids did it. This story needs to be shared. Awareness needs to be created for children who don't have a choice but to be different. They feel, experience and love so much more than we could ever comprehend. Yet they are ostracized, sometimes feared, other times ridiculed but always hurt in one way or another by other's reactions. Thank you Tina. Thank you for sharing your book and opening my heart, tear ducts and my soul to the beauty that is Forever, Christian. I look forward to reading more about Christian as time goes by. Until then I give you 5 stars but not the book. Yes, I don't give this book 5 stars. I give it 5 GALAXIES.

Tina Traverse fell in love with writing at the age of eight when she wrote her version of the bible story, The Good Samaritan, for a homework assignment.

This love grew into a passionate affair and has been ongoing for thirty years; and there are no signs of it waning.

Though, she admits, when she was pregnant with her son Christian, the affair cooled.

Tina’s desire to write came calling once again when she needed to find a way to cope with heartbreaking news.

Christian was diagnosed with autism in 2010.

Her method of coping was to write a story about his journey called Forever, Christian.

Tina likes to joke that a girl can only write about real life for so long without jumping back into the world of make believe.

She loves to venture into the world of the supernatural; vampires and witches are her favourite!

Tina enjoys all sorts of vampires but admits that she is fascinated with the modern romantic vampire (think Twilight and The Vampire Diaries).

She is currently working on a vampire series based on her first published book, Destiny of The Vampire and has other projects in the works.

When Tina is not at the computer creating her exciting, magical worlds, she is kept on her toes by her two sons, Christian and Brandon.

Sometimes the author manages to curl up in her favourite chair with a good book.
